Canada Games Team:
from the BC Senior Championships in January through to the Spring Nationals in March there were 6 HYACK swimmers in the hunt for a berth on the BC Canada Games team. After the cycle concluded congratulations can be bestowed on Siobhan Newell, Vanessa Hanbury, Michael Cai and Andre Kudaba who all qualified for the meet which will be held in PEI this August.

We had some terrific swims from our athletes in the mix as they fought to make it; a big hand to Rudi Plesch and Kristine Lawson (who both made their National times over the period) and Kathy Qu who resisted valiantly through a lengthy bout of flu to compete as hard as she could.
