Hyack at "AAA's": By: nj - Jul. 06, 2009 11 year old Haydn Pak was a very busy youngster in his 1st full BC "AAA" Championship meet this past weekend.  Going through the modified 10&u program last July and this past March prepared Haydn well for the challenges of a full program over the 4-day meet.  Haydn finished with 7 podiums out of 9 individual races to be the top Hyack scoring swimmer over the weekend.  His results are below: Not to be outdone, Hyack had a number of other individuals swim very well over the weekend, including many youngsters acheiving new levels of success for the 1st time: - Wendy Yang (10) - Provincial Champion in 50m Butterfly, NEW club record (35.18), 4th overall in the 10&u aggregate add-up. - Chris Chiu (11) - 1st 2 inidividual final swims at AAA's. - Inder Pooni (12) - Bronze in 100m Back, 1st AAA medal. - Sarah Leung (13) - 4 podium swims, New Age group national standard in 400m Freestyle (___). - Stefan Milosevic (13) - - Kieron Wou (15) - 1st inidividual final - 200m Breaststroke. - Brett Elder (16) - 1st time competing in the Open water race, 5th overall 5km.
