Youth Cup Day One By: MB - Dec. 03, 2009 Emily Gerson and Sarra Leung started the Hyack squad on solid ground in their 1500 free swims.  Both girls were best time with Emily at 1811 (7) and Sarra 1858 (5) overall in their age categories.. Next up with the 400 IM was  Sarra again who had a tough race but no BT. Abi Sayer won her jeat by 1/100th bt and big drop while Alex Lindsay at 514 had her best race of the year so far. On the boys side Stefan was dq'd and Matt at 453 was a so so swim. Stefan bounced back in the 200 fly earning finals tomorrow.  He was pb at 218.   Abi raced to victory in her heat with another nice drop to 221.  Alex Lindsay looked t build on her 400 IM but fell short a bit. Up next is the girls in 100 free with Sara still looking for her first bt.  Both  Lindsay Clarke and Kirsten Lee looked to go under 1 min for the first time and both had pb just over 1:00.  Abi went pb in 101. Girls 200 Fr Relay leadoff splits for Kirsten Lee at 28,8 and Lindsay Clarke at 27.75.  Sarra finally had her break she was looking for 29.5 (for full meet results, please click here)
