27 gold medals, 1 Canadian Age Group, 2 Provincial and 4 Hyack Club records - BC Winter Provincial Championships

All of Hyack's swimmers had amazing performances at the Winter Provincial Championships last week. During the "long weekend" (4-day meet) they achieved 88 individual best times, 43 podium finishes: 27 gold, 9 silver, 7 bronze. In addition, Shima Taghavi set 1 Canadian Age Group, 2 Provincial and 4 Hyack records. Shima won 9 gold medals as Mark Aistov also added 9 individual championship victories to his record. They also won the 11-12 Girls and Boys Aggregate Awards. .

Jerry Ling with 3, Evan Vellescig with 2, and Paige Korbely with 1 gold joined the list of individual Hyack winners.
