2025 World Aquatics World Junior Swimming Championships - Otepeni, Romania
Shima Taghavi continued her outstanding performance in "international waters."
After last year's Junior Pan Pacific Championship, she represented Canada and Hyack at this year's Junior World Championships.
Shima Taghavi 6th and set a new Canadian Age Group Record in the 13-14 in the 200 breaststroke: 2:27.83. The previous age group record was held by Courtenay Chuy, who also competed for Hyack.
Shima came very close to her personal best in the 400 IM and the 100 breaststroke, but she just missed.
This result could be an excellent boost for Shima ahead of next year's Junior Pan Pacific Championship in Vancouver.
Keep up the good work!
