Three New Records by Shima Taghavi - UBC Winter Warm-up
1 Canadian Age Group, 1 New Provincial and 1 New Hyack LC Record
The UBC Winter Warm-up meeting marked the start of the 2024 season for Hyack.
This meet of the new year began as last year ended, with Canadian Age Group, Provincial and Hyack record by Shima Taghavi in the 200m breaststroke this time for LC.
Shima breaks Allison Higson's (2:34.11) 38 year old Canadian Age Group Record from 1986.
In addition, 2 new Western QT times were set by Taysia Lennstrom 100m Breast and Evan Vellsecig 100 back.
